This course aims to provide students with a good understanding of the individual and social context of health and disease, and the importance of health to society as a whole. It is to provide a foundation for sound decision making in matters related to health/wellness, based on theories of health behavior. The roles of community, health policies and health services in disease prevention and health promotion should be realized in an integrated manner. Also health skills are built so that they can be applied in many aspects of students’ everyday life. |
