Depending on the background of the students, we can have several options. One option is to go over several models: e.g., the Ricardian--Dornbusch-Fisher-Samuelson--Eaton-Kortum model, the HOS model, the Krugman--Melitz model, political-economy models such as those of Mayer--Grossman-Helpman--Bagwell-Staiger, models of strategic trade, etc. We can also introduce recent debates in which these theories can be applied. |
