In the lecture , firstly professor Yagi introduced that cell is generated from a cell and each trait determined by genes . Humans reproduction following Mendelian inheritance , which is a type of biological inheritance that originally proposed by Mendel in 1865 , discovered that in his pea plants , states that every individual organism contains two alleles for each trait, and that these alleles segregate during meiosis such that each gamete contains only one of the alleles , called the Law of Segregation of genes ; and alleles for separate traits are passed independently of one another called the Law of Independent Assortment ; as well as in an individual that is heterozygous for a genetic trait the recessive allele will always be masked by the dominant allele called the Law of Dominance . Those traits are decided by genes , as a hidden information and combined by ATGC . |
