By learning to be more analytical toward both the mainstream and alternative media, we will be able to take more control over our own lives and find more effective ways of influencing the society in which we live. Viewing, discussing, and interpreting films and videos and reading books on the media written from different sociopolitical perspectives will illuminate various facets of this complex subject. |
