Yield Management is definitively a major topic in contemporary Hospitality, which is closely connected with Revenue Management. Put together one third of accounting, one third of economics and another third of marketing concepts and you have the secret recipe of Yield Management Strategies. In this module, we will apply revenue and profit ratios to analyse and discuss Yield Management Strategies and issues. We will look at how to analyse a Market in order to settle the right pricing strategy. We will discuss about the importance of price sensitivity for successful Yield Management Strategies. |
