Topic on Modern Japanese Fiction such as the Nobel Winning author Yasunari Kawabata, The Sound of the Mountain. The class style is about 30 -60 minutes lecture and 20 minutes discussion in a group and then the rest of time class discussion. The professor allows the students to talk freely and is open to question and new interpretation of the text, so the class is always interesting. |
